Chegodilu in the Evening

Chegodilu are the ridged rings fried for Sankranti tins and for ordinary evenings. Serve them with coffee. They should crack. If they have travelled and lost the crack, warm them briefly. Do not salt them again.
They like a dry tin and dislike the steam of a just-cooked curry beside them.
